The RFEF has officially confirmed the refereeing teams appointed for the Spanish Super Cup matches taking place this week in Saudi Arabia, naming three on-field referees and three VAR officials.
Díaz de Mera Escuderos will be the first to officiate, taking charge of the opening semi-final between Barcelona and Athletic Club. He will be supported by Figueroa Vázquez from the VAR room.
The second semi-final, the Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid on Thursday, will be overseen by Busquets Ferrer, with Iglesias Villanueva assigned as the VAR referee.
For Sunday’s final, the RFEF has selected Munuera Montero as the match referee, while Trujillo Suárez will handle VAR duties in the decisive clash of the tournament.
