Real Madrid TV strongly criticized the refereeing and television coverage following Barcelona’s 2-0 victory over Real Madrid in El Clásico.

The club’s official channel focused particularly on an incident involving Eric García and Jude Bellingham in the 55th minute, claiming referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández should have awarded a penalty.

“Perhaps a push at neck level is something more, but we didn't see it. What we did see was an elbow from Eric García that is clearly a penalty and also a red card offense,” RMTV stated during the broadcast.

The channel also questioned the role of VAR in the decision-making process. “It's yet another demonstration of VAR inaction that fails to correct what could be an injustice. If this is considered a play in the game, then everything can be considered a play in the game; anyone who has played football knows that Eric García did that intentionally.”

RMTV further complained about a possible incident involving Dani Olmo and criticized the lack of replay footage during controversial moments of the match.

The harshest criticism was aimed at the television production of the game. Commentators on the channel described the coverage as “a circus and a farce” and accused the production team of avoiding certain replay angles during controversial situations involving Real Madrid.

The channel also claimed that VAR interventions consistently worked against the club throughout the season.
