Rodrygo Goes shared his thoughts with Real Madrid TV after the team's victory against Atalanta, securing yet another European Super Cup for the Santiago Bernabéu. The young Brazilian forward expressed his delight at starting the season on a high note.

"I'm very happy," Rodrygo said. "This is exactly how we wanted to begin, with a title, just like we ended last season. It gives us a lot of confidence moving forward, especially since the season is going to be very long," he added.

When asked about the team's preparation for the European Super Cup, Rodrygo explained, "We haven't trained much, but we were ready to give everything from the start. We're improving, and we'll do even better as the season progresses. The pitch was a bit dry in the first half, but when it was wet in the second, the game changed. We'll keep training to get better because it's a pleasure to be at this club."

Rodrygo also commented on what it's like to play alongside Kylian Mbappé, who recently joined Real Madrid. "It's similar to playing with Vini and Jude. Now we have another one of the best in the world on our team. The coach asks us to switch positions often and not stay in one spot," Rodrygo said, highlighting the dynamic nature of Real Madrid's attack.
