Rodrygo Goes says his recovery from a serious knee injury is progressing well as he continues his rehabilitation away from the pitch.
The Real Madrid forward suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament last March, an injury expected to keep him sidelined until 2027. Despite the lengthy recovery, the Brazilian has remained positive throughout the process.
Speaking to Diario AS during his vacation in the United States, Rodrygo provided an update on his condition.
"I'm doing very well. I'm happy with my progress; I feel better every day. It's a process that requires a lot of patience. There are days when you don't wake up feeling so good, and others when you wake up feeling great, when you think you could run out there and play... You have to be patient in this process. But I'm doing well. The feedback I've received has all been positive."
The winger also reflected on the challenges of the past few months, admitting it has been the toughest period of his career while expressing confidence that the experience will make him stronger.
"In these three and a half months, we've experienced everything: very good days, but also very bad days when I was in a lot of pain. It's been very tough, the worst I've ever been through. There are days when you wake up and have no energy for anything, and days when you have a lot of energy. I've experienced it all. I've gone through all those experiences that I know will make me stronger from now on, when I have the opportunity to play again."
