Rodrygo Goes is the latest player to raise concerns during the November international break for Real Madrid due to a physical issue he sustained while playing for his country, which puts his participation against Cádiz at risk.
Despite the fact that Rodrygo played the full 90 minutes against Argentina, he finished the game in pain.
The 22-year-old landed in Madrid early on Thursday morning, rested for a few hours, and then proceeded to Real Madrid's training complex, Valdebebas. He did not join his colleagues on the field, staying inside the gym because of a knock that produced swelling in his knee.
He has already undergone tests to examine the injury, and more will take place on Friday. As things stand, the club staff are confident that the issue is nothing serious. They hope the issue will be solved with physiotherapy treatment and that the player will be available in the decisive weeks ahead in both LaLiga and the Champions League.
