Marc Cucurella's arrival at Real Madrid has already generated excitement inside the dressing room.
The Spanish left-back joined Los Blancos during the FIFA World Cup after the club moved quickly to beat competition from Barcelona and Atlético Madrid. Fresh off helping Spain lift the World Cup trophy, Cucurella arrives in Madrid with his reputation stronger than ever.
The enthusiasm over his signing is not limited to the club's hierarchy. Several Real Madrid players have publicly welcomed the newly crowned world champion.
Rodrygo became the latest teammate to congratulate Cucurella by commenting on one of his social media posts: "Congratulations on the title!! We're waiting for you at the biggest club in the world."
The Brazilian was not the first to welcome him. Shortly after Spain's victory over Argentina in the World Cup final, Vinícius Júnior shared an Instagram story that read: "Congratulations and welcome, Cucu!"
Cucurella's social media posts also received support from other Real Madrid stars, including Thibaut Courtois and Antonio Rüdiger, highlighting the excitement surrounding one of the club's marquee signings of the summer.
