Jose María Sánchez Martínez will be the referee of the Copa del Rey final on Saturday, May 6, between Real Madrid and Osasuna, which will take place at the Estadio de la Cartuja starting at 10:00 p.m. This will be the first Cup final of his arbitration career.
Sánchez Martínez will be assisted on the field by Raúl Cabañero Martínez and José Enrique Naranjo Pérez and will have Martínez Munuera as fourth official.
In the VAR there will be Santiago Jaime Latre, a regular of this task in the First Division, supported by Diego Barbero Sevilla.
This season, Sánchez Martínez was in charge of three games of Real Madrid: against Betis (2-1 win), the first Clásico against Barcelona (3-1 win) and the match at San Mamés against Athletic (0-2 win). He has only refereed Osasuna once this season in a 0-0 draw against Celta at Sadar.
