Swiss referee Sandro Schärer has been appointed to officiate the European Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Atalanta on August 14 at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.

This will be Schärer’s second time refereeing a Real Madrid match. His previous assignment was during the first matchday of the 2022-23 Champions League Group Stage, where Real Madrid secured a 3-0 victory over Celtic Glasgow.
