Sergio Llull breaks two club records against Gran Canaria

In the opening game of the Spanish Liga Endesa (ACB) quarterfinals, Real Madrid easily overcame Dreamland Gran Canaria. Sergio Llull broke two club records during the game.

He made his 900th three-pointer in a Real Madrid jersey with a triple in the second quarter, a club record. Llull currently has 909 triples in his ACB career, which ranks him third all-time.

Only four players in ACB history have surpassed the 900-triple mark: Alberto Herreros (1233), Juan Carlos Navarro (1179), Rudy Fernandez (907; 562 with Real Madrid), and Alex Mumbru (901).

Llull finished the match with 16 points, which allowed him improve on his already remarkable record. The veteran guard surpassed Felipe Reyes to become Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer.

Llull now has 6027 points, while Reyes had 6017 throughout his time at Real Madrid. Llull is also ranked seventh all-time in ACB assists.

He has been a Real Madrid player since 2006, appearing in 565 games for the club.
