While Spain national team prepares for the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, Sergio Llull discussed several topics, including Walter Tavares' future in Real Madrid.
"I think Edy should retire at Real Madrid whenever he wants," Llull told the reporter of AS. "I am neither a sports director nor am I Edy, that is his business, but he is a game-changing center in Europe, there is no one else like him."
"He is our most important player and, in my opinion, the best center in Europe right now. Hopefully he extends for another 10 or 15 years, as he wants, and stays in Madrid forever to mark an era", Llull added.
