Sergio Llull has been named one of the top 25 players in Euroleague history as part of the league's 25th-anniversary celebrations. The selection was based on votes from fans, MVPs, members of the All-Decade teams (2000-2010 and 2010-2020), title-winning coaches, and the media. Llull, the Real Madrid captain, holds the record for the most games played in Euroleague history and has earned this prestigious recognition after winning the competition three times (2015, 2018, and 2023).
Llull's Euroleague journey began on February 14, 2008, with his debut against Zalgiris Kaunas at Vistalegre. Since then, the player from Menorca has become the all-time leader in victories and three-pointers in the competition. He has created countless unforgettable moments for Real Madrid fans, including his iconic game-winner in the Kaunas final that secured the club’s 11th European title.
In addition to this latest accolade, Llull was also named to the Euroleague All-Decade Team for 2010-2020. He was among the first five players revealed in this special vote, alongside Euroleague legends Siskauskas, Spanoulis, De Colo, and Vujcic.
