Sergio Llull has further cemented his legendary status at Real Madrid, reaching the milestone of 1,100 appearances during the team’s recent victory over Virtus Bologna. The captain, who surpassed club icon Felipe Reyes last January to become the player with the most games in Real Madrid's history, continues to add to his historic tally.
Having joined the club at just 19 years old in the 2006-07 season, Llull is now in his 19th season with the team, surpassing Rafael Rullán’s record of 18 seasons at the club. His illustrious career with Los Blancos includes an incredible 28 titles: 3 Euroleague trophies, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 8 Spanish Leagues, 7 Copa del Rey titles, and 9 Super Cups.
On an individual level, Llull’s accolades include being named Euroleague MVP, ACB League MVP, and MVP of both the Intercontinental Cup and Copa del Rey. He has also been part of the Euroleague Best Quintet, the ACB Best Quintet three times, and was the hero of Real Madrid's "Undécima" with a game-winning shot in the final against Olympiacos.
