Sergio Ramos reunited with Real Madrid 856 days later. More than two years have passed since he left the Bernabéu.

With the final whistle, it was time to greet old friends, something that the former captain wanted to do calmly, without rushing: for up to 50 minutes he was in the Real Madrid locker room. He merged into a loving hug with Ancelotti. It was precisely Luka Modric, who he shared the most time with: the Croatian was the last to leave the room, with all of his teammates already in the bus to head to the airport. Their friendship remains intact, and they speak on the phone often, in addition to meeting on some of Ramos's visits to the capital of Spain.

When the Real Madrid squad left, Ramos continued for a while longer before going to the shower. His children accompanied him and he was chatting inside the stadium with different friends and family. He was affectionate and joking with his teammates, after the enormous weight he took off with the good image he offered in a game where he knew the cameras were going to be pointed at him from start to finish.
