Six members of 'Frente Atletico' identified for the Vinicius hanged doll case

According to El Confidencial, the National Police has identified six 'Frente Atletico' ultras as being responsible for hanging Vinicius' doll on a bridge in Madrid. The incident happened on January 26 when a figure of the Brazilian player was hanged on a bridge near to Valdebebas along to a banner that read "Madrid hate Real", just hours before the Madrid derby in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals.

Among the six people identified, there are several people who were found guilty of taking part in the fight in which Jimmy, a Dépor supporter who died after being thrown into the Manzanares River in November 2014.

"The identification will facilitate the work of the Scientific Police experts, who will be able to focus on the search for fingerprints or genetic profiles compatible with the six names provided by their colleagues from the Provincial Information Brigade of the Superior Headquarters of Madrid," explained the source.
