The reactions continue to pour in following Real Madrid’s defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final at La Cartuja.
Now that the first night after the painful loss has passed, Real Madrid players are beginning to look ahead, with Aurélien Tchouaméni leading the way with a message of hope shared on social media platform 'X'.
The French midfielder, who scored Real Madrid’s second goal to bring the score to 2-1, aimed a pointed message at Barcelona, expressing confidence that Madrid will soon return to winning ways. "They celebrate our defeats as if we were never going to win again," Tchouaméni wrote.
He also took a moment to encourage Real Madrid fans still reeling from the loss to their greatest rivals at La Cartuja: "We’ll be back," he added.
Tchouaméni was one of Real Madrid’s standout performers on the night, starting alongside Fede Valverde in midfield and delivering a crucial second-half header to keep Madrid in the fight.
