Jude Bellingham had the opportunity to sign for Barcelona when he was beginning to emerge at Birmingham. In the middle of the negotiations, Barcelona was able to sign him, but the player and his father rejected the offer in order to go to Germany.
Bojan Krkic senior, father of the former Barcelona player, who was part of Barcelona's scouting department, traveled to London to try to persuade him.
"In my last year at Barcelona, I went to London to meet Jude Bellingham's father. The boy was emerging in Birmingham and we had just signed a young boy from West Bromwich. I don't remember the name," he begins.
"An hour before the meeting he sent me a message saying that he could not come due to issues of work. Finally he did not come to the meeting. Clearly he didn't want to come to Barcelona because he already had the offer from Dortmund."
The English midfielder is currently excelling for Real Madrid and is the guiding light for the white team since his fantastic debut in La Liga.
