David Alaba scared all Real Madrid fans during Austria's last game against France in the Nations League. The Madridista was substituted after 69 minutes of play due to injury, and later his coach confirmed the Austrian player's discomfort.
"David is injured, he's a doubt for the next game (against Croatia). He doesn't know if he'll be able to be ready on Sunday", commented Ralf Rangnick after the match.
Real Madrid confirmed this Friday, after contacting the Austrian Federation and the player himself, that David Alaba's problem is minimal and that he is in "perfect physical condition". In fact, the defender is not going to travel back to the Spanish capital for a medical check-up and to put himself back under the command of Carlo Ancelotti.
The Austrian footballer remains focused on his national team and it will be his coach who will decide whether or not he plays against Croatia.
