Koke responded with ironic applause, and after Vinicius walked away, he returned, continuing to taunt the Atlético captain: "You’ve lost two, I’ve won two. That’s why I play for Madrid," pointing to the Real Madrid crest. Koke again responded with applause as Bellingham and Modric intervened to calm Vinicius.
