Toni Kroos has once again been linked with a return to Real Madrid, this time in a role within the club’s structure. According to Diario AS, the club is interested in incorporating the former midfielder into its sporting organization, an idea that aligns with his experience and connection to the institution.
However, Kroos has downplayed the speculation. Speaking on his podcast Einfach mal Luppen alongside his brother Felix Kroos, he denied any knowledge of such plans: “I don’t want to say anything about it. I can’t say anything, I don’t want to say anything, because I don’t know anything . That’s the answer you can keep giving to those who ask you,” he said. His comments suggest that, if discussions exist, they have not yet reached him directly.
Meanwhile, journalist Alberto Pereiro reported on Onda Cero that Real Madrid are considering a role for Kroos as a link between the board and the dressing room. The club has been searching for a profile with authority, respect, and a deep understanding of its identity, qualities the former midfielder is widely seen to possess.
