Lucas Vázquez has officially completed a move to Bayer Leverkusen as a free agent after parting ways with Real Madrid this summer.
The Spanish winger is ready to embark on a new chapter in his career, with the goal of showcasing his talent in the Bundesliga and contributing to Erik ten Hag’s side.
After announcing his transfer on Instagram, Vázquez was flooded with congratulatory messages from former teammates. Among them, Toni Kroos left a playful comment: “Good luck my friend!! Looking forward to hearing you speak in German!”
With his arrival in Germany, Vázquez will have to adapt both on and off the pitch—and fans may soon get to witness his first attempts at speaking German.
