François Letexier has been appointed to officiate the Champions League quarterfinal second leg between Real Madrid and Arsenal at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday at 9:00 PM.
This will be the fifth time the French referee takes charge of a Real Madrid match in Europe's premier competition. His previous UCL appointments involving Los Blancos include:
Liverpool 2-0 Real Madrid – Group Stage, Matchday 5 (2024/25)
Real Madrid 3-3 Manchester City – Quarterfinals, First Leg (2023/24)
Real Madrid 4-2 Napoli – Group Stage, Matchday 5 (2023/24)
Real Madrid 2-0 Chelsea – Quarterfinals, First Leg (2022/23)
Letexier’s experience and familiarity with high-stakes fixtures add another layer to an already electric night at the Bernabéu.
