Endrick—A long-term project for the club, but Alonso has yet to define his role for the upcoming season. Dani Ceballos—Faces intense competition in midfield, especially with Arda Güler gaining momentum. David Alaba and Ferland Mendy—both have fitness and form concerns, and neither is guaranteed a starting role.

In contrast, Arda Güler has impressed during preseason and is expected to play a more central role in Alonso’s system. The Turkish midfielder’s rise could push players like Ceballos further down the pecking order. Meanwhile, Gonzalo García has turned heads after finishing as the top scorer in the Club World Cup, making a strong case for a bigger role.

With Real Madrid returning to training on August 4 and set to kick off their La Liga campaign against Osasuna on August 18, Alonso has limited time to finalize his squad. Key decisions are expected in the coming weeks as the club prepares for a new era.
