Following Real Madrid's match against Milan, several key players spoke to the media, including Jesús Vallejo, who seems increasingly likely to remain with the team.
Reflecting on the match, Vallejo noted: "There were moments when we were good and others when it was noticeable that they were playing faster. These matches are about getting into rhythm. You have to adapt to everything. It's not the first time we've come to the United States. You have to adapt to different climates and that makes the player stronger."
Vallejo also shared his thoughts on returning to Real Madrid: "I've had a great time with Rüdiger and my teammates, who have tremendous quality both as players and as people. I missed many things: the preparation, the staff, the medical and technical staff. There's a tremendous infrastructure and we have to take advantage of it. I'm here to work hard and I'm very happy to be back. It's a privilege to be here and I have to give my all to stay here. The manager gives you tremendous confidence and I hope to return it. I can fit in well."
Lastly, Vallejo expressed his gratitude to the American fans: "Since we arrived at the hotel in Chicago, they have been waiting for us and encouraging us. Wherever we go, we have to be thankful for their support."
