Eight days after lifting the Champions League trophy in London, Real Madrid players are joining their national teams for summer commitments. Among the last to do so was Fede Valverde, who was warmly welcomed by his national team, as was the case for our other champions.
The Uruguayan, celebrating his second Champions League title after the 2022 win in Paris, arrived at his team's training camp with a new tattoo. On the lower part of his leg, where he already had "Paris 2022" engraved, he has now added “London 2024” to commemorate the recent victory against Borussia Dortmund.
Interestingly, Valverde has left ample space on his leg for future tattoos, suggesting he anticipates more Champions League triumphs. Given the space each city and year currently occupy, there’s room for several more trophies, befitting the legacy of Europe’s reigning champion.
