His appearances are spread across competitions as follows: 230 in La Liga, 71 in the Champions League, 25 in the Copa del Rey, 9 in the Club World Cup, 2 in the UEFA Super Cup, and 13 in the Spanish Super Cup. His busiest campaign came last season, when he featured 65 times, while Barcelona is the opponent he has faced most often, with 23 appearances against them.
