Jude Bellingham cost Real Madrid €103 million; but, if Borussia Dortmund's conditions for the transfer of the England international are fulfilled, the price might rise by another €30.9 million, or 30%, to reach €133.9 million.
According to the German outlet Bild, Dortmund will likely receive €25 million of the total €30.9 million. If Real Madrid win the Champions League or LaLiga over the following six years (the period of the contract Bellingham signed), Dortmund will be compensated extra. If Real Madrid participate in the Champions League, which Los Blancos have done without fail for the previous 27 seasons, Dortmund will also profit.
Add-ons for Bellingham's playing time are among the individual accomplishments that might raise the total sum that Real Madrid pay Dortmund. Moreover, Dortmund will receive a bonus if Bellingham is chosen for FIFA's Team of the Year.
Real Madrid wanted the add-ons to be no more than €20 million, but Dortmund's negotiators, general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke and sporting director Sebastian Kehl, were more insistent on this point.
