Despite strong interest from Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, and Arsenal, highly rated teenage defender Victor Valdepeñas has committed his future to Real Madrid, signing a new contract that runs until 2029.

The 18-year-old, known for his versatility in playing both as a left-back and a centre-back, has been closely monitored by several top European clubs, although no formal offers were made. Real Madrid, however, moved swiftly to secure his services amid growing external attention.

Valdepeñas is expected to make the step up to Arbeloa’s Castilla team for the 2025–26 season, as the club continues to integrate promising talents from its academy into more competitive environments.
