Vini Jr. has now scored 100 goals for Real Madrid. The forward reached 101 in the dominant victory over Salzburg at the Santiago Bernabéu, scoring the fourth goal in the 55th minute after a brilliant individual run and adding the fifth in the 76th minute with a precise finish inside the box. After the match, he expressed his joy: "I'm very happy to reach 100 goals with this shirt. Now I'm only three goals behind Ronaldo, the Brazilian with the most goals. I hope I can continue this way and create an era with this team—it's my dream."
Since netting his first goal for Real Madrid against Valladolid in the 2018/19 season, Vini Jr. has been crucial in helping the team secure 14 titles. He has scored eight goals in 13 finals, including the Decimocuarta and Decimoquinta triumphs.
His 101 goals are spread across different competitions: 58 in La Liga, 28 in the Champions League, 7 in the Copa del Rey, 4 in the Spanish Super Cup, 3 in the Club World Cup, and 1 in the Intercontinental Cup. His highest-scoring season was last year, with 24 goals, and he already has 17 this season. Additionally, Vini Jr. has recorded four hat-tricks as a Real Madrid player, three of them in 2024.
