Vinicius Jr capped off his summer by switching up his hairstyle, adding some dreads and even dyeing parts of it white. The Brazilian star looked noticeably different with his new look.
However, since adopting the new style—or perhaps since the season began—Vini's performances on the pitch haven't been up to his usual standards. His only goal so far this season came from a penalty against Las Palmas.
In a move that could signal a fresh start, Vini has now ditched the dreads, returning to the traditional hairstyle we saw him sport last season.
During Real Madrid's training session on Friday, coach Carlo Ancelotti was seen joking with Vini, playfully asking why he decided to change his haircut. Vini answered that, "It's time to get serious."
Fans are hopeful that this change will help Vini rediscover his top form and perhaps build a stronger partnership with Mbappe.
