Vinicius Junior has broken his silence after learning that the Competition Committee had handed him a four-match suspension. The Real Madrid forward questioned the timing of the decision and said he had not been properly informed about the new rule.

"I think the suspension came at a bad time. They had all day to issue the suspension, and I only found out when I arrived at the stadium. The rule is new, and LaLiga officials always come to explain new things to us, but they didn't explain this one. I've never committed an act of violence against another player. I get fouled quite a bit, and a yellow card is always enough for me."

The Brazilian also reflected on his recent performances, admitting that he was frustrated with his own level while praising the impact of the substitutes.

"It's normal, I was angry after the substitution because I always want to be at my best and help the team. The substitutions changed the team. Endrick changed the dynamic and was the best player. And Carlos came on for a few minutes but scored. I'm angry with myself for not being at my best. In the end, Vini always comes back and I have no doubt that I will."

Vinicius also addressed the boos he has received from the Santiago Bernabéu crowd. Although he admitted that the criticism does not help him, he acknowledged the supporters' right to express their feelings and stressed how much the team benefits from their backing.

"The boos certainly don't help me, but people pay for their tickets. We play better when we have the fans behind us. Jude plays better, Mbappé plays better, I play better... I think it's easier to boo me because I've been here longer and I'm one of the captains."

The forward then sent a defiant message, insisting that he would return to his best level and reminding critics of what he has achieved since arriving at the club.

"I'm going to be back. When I arrived young, many laughed at me, and in the end, I have over 100 goals for Real Madrid."

Finally, Vinicius spoke about what he perceives as unfair treatment from opposing fans and referees. While accepting that rival supporters will target him, he questioned the number of bookings he receives compared with the fouls committed against him.

"The fans have to boo me because I'm here to score goals against their teams, but I don't understand the referees, because I've seen a statistic that says I get 500 fouls for five red cards and I don't know how many yellow cards, and the yellow cards are always for Vini, I don't understand, we have to defend the players who do things differently, like Lamine at Barcelona or Julián at Atlético."
