Vinícius Júnior continued his rise in Real Madrid’s all-time scoring rankings after scoring twice against Espanyol. The forward has now reached 126 goals for the club, surpassing Pahiño to move into 14th place. He is now just one goal behind Fernando Hierro, who occupies 13th position with 127 goals.
His brace also took his tally to 21 goals this season, marking the fifth consecutive campaign in which he has scored more than 20 goals for Real Madrid. This achievement places him among a select group of club legends, including Pahiño, Alfredo Di Stéfano, Ferenc Puskás, Hugo Sánchez, Raúl González, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema.
