Vinicius Junior has reportedly extended his contract with Real Madrid till 2027. The Brazilian's new contract includes a €1 billion release clause, which is meant to deter Saudi Arabian clubs from trying to sign him.
Vinicius has played 225 games for Real Madrid since joining from Flamengo in 2018, scoring 59 goals and contributing 64 assists.
It is expected that Vinicius will now have even more responsibility at Real Madrid following Karim Benzema's departure to Saudi.
The fact that Vinicius recently received the No. 7 jersey after Eden Hazard left the team speaks much about his status there.
