Real Madrid has declared that Vinicius Junior is now a citizen of Spain.
It indicates that the club now has one open non-EU spot. Real Madrid may decide to register Vinicius Tobias as a first-team member, or wait until the January transfer window to sign a non-EU player.
It is worth to mention that Real Madrid plan to sign Jude Bellingham next summer, who would also occupy a non-EU slot. Let's not forget also that Real Madrid did not buy Gabriel Jesus this summer because he could not be registered in the first team.
Meanwhile Eder Militao and Rodrygo are also on their way to receiving Spanish passports.
