Vinicius Júnior is set to be the latest from the sports world to make the move to the small screen as it has been revealed that he will be the star of a Netflix documentary telling the story of his career so far.
The documentary will discuss the highs and lows of the Brazilian's time in Spain, including the racist abuse he frequently received from some supporters. Using their Spanish social media pages, Netflix on Tuesday announced the documentary's premiere.
Without providing any other information, the streaming company stated that the as-yet-unnamed series on "one of the biggest names in world soccer" would premiere in 2025. Vinicius shared the advertisement and added the comment, "Very happy to announce I am making a documentary on my life with Netflix. The premiere is planned for 2025. Here's a nutmeg for you until then [in the clip]. DANCE!”
