Vinicius will not play again for Real Madrid this season, according to OK Diario. The Brazilian forward has been granted permission by the club to travel to Brazil ahead of the World Cup and will miss the upcoming match against Athletic Club.
The winger reportedly requested a few days off before joining his national team squad, and Real Madrid approved the request without issue. Vinicius has already traveled to Brazil, bringing his club season to an early end.
His absence means he will not be available for Real Madrid’s final fixture of the campaign against Athletic Club.
