Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has revealed who he considers the best teammate he ever had during his remarkable playing career: none other than Ronaldo Nazario.
In an interview with Goal, Zidane expressed his admiration for the Brazilian icon, saying: "I always thought Ronaldo was the best because I played and trained with him. He’s probably the best I’ve ever played with. He did everything he wanted with the ball and had no weaknesses."
Zidane continued, "When he decided to express himself with the ball, he did everything he wanted. From a technical standpoint, no player has impressed me more than Ronaldo."
He emphasized Ronaldo's unstoppable nature, adding, "There was no system or tactic that could stop him. He was quick, skillful, and when he had the ball, it was like he was running at 2,000 miles per hour. Most players are fast without the ball, but he was fast with it."
Zidane and Ronaldo shared the pitch at Real Madrid for four years, from 2002 to 2006, and together they helped the club secure the La Liga title in 2003.
